On Wednesday, 28 August, during a routine inspection in the morning, damage was detected on the asphalt surface of the runway at Findel Airport, leading to its closure for repair work. At 10:30 a.m., it was determined that a section of the runway could be reopened for limited operations. The runway at Luxembourg Airport has been fully reopened and is operational again since 2:30 PM.
