SkyPark Business Center

The Skypark Business Center is the first visible milestone of Airport City, a major development surrounding Luxembourg airport. The state-of-the-art building has taken great strides in construction. The Skypark Business Center is set to create a reference building for sustainability and environmental awareness – it uses timber construction methods intended to reduce the development’s carbon footprint and a series of other devices and smart technologies that ensure the scheme’s sustainability.

The Skypark Business Center, a striking copper building located right next to Luxembourg Airport terminal, is a versatile complex connected to the terminal via the Skypark Plaza. It marks the first phase of Airport City, an ambitious urban development project that will transform the area surrounding the airport in the coming years.

The Moxy Luxembourg Airport Hotel is the first business to open in the Skypark Business Center. Located in this copper building, the hotel provides the closest accommodation to the airport, offering stunning views of the airfield.

A significant portion of the Skypark Business Center is set to open in 2025. Over time, the area will offer a variety of services, including shopping, dining, and amenities designed to meet the needs of travelers, airport staff, and nearby employees. These services will include a pharmacy, fitness center, daycare, an airport visitor terrace, and more. Additionally, the complex will feature approximately 70,000 m² of premium office space.

In addition to the office and retail spaces, the Skypark Business Center will have five basement levels with approximately 1,500 parking spaces. On the ground floor, about 10,000 m² of commercial space will cater to both passenger and tenant needs, with dining options, shops, and essential services.

One of the largest wooden buildings in Europe, the Skypark Business Center stretches across 370 meters. A part of the first section, closest to the terminal, already houses the Moxy Hotel, which opened at the end of 2024. The remainder of the first section, along with the part further from the terminal, is still under construction. The project will be completed gradually, with full completion and occupation expected by 2026.

The Skypark Business Center is designed with sustainability in mind. The building was created by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) from Denmark and Metaform Architects from Luxembourg, combining innovative design with environmentally friendly features.
